The monument, sculpted in bronze by Giulio Cozzoli, commemorates the fallen of the First World War. It is 4 meters high and enclosed in an octagonal flowerbed, the lower level represents a bas-relief of the armed forces. On it a winged bronze Victory holds a dying infantryman.
