The Museum in memory of the Acqui Division is located right next to the Catholic Church of Saint Nicholaos in Kefalonia. It is a special museum, which hosts objects and documents from the Acqui Division. Its exhibits came from Kefalonians who collected them from various parts of Kefalonia right after the end of the war.The massacre of the Acqui division in Kefalonia was the largest massacre of uniformed men in World War II.The museum also exhibits personal belongings of soldiers and press publications in both Greek and Italian.The museum is maintained by the Greco-Italian Society of Kefalonia and "Mediterraneo" of Ithaca.
