It is celebrated on the 26th of May but the ceremonies start before. She is the patron Saint of the city because of two miracles attributed to her. The second miracle is intertwined with the history of Bitonto, which haven’t been sacked by Spanish army through the intercession of the Virgin Mary. The procession of 26th is very attended.
