The Roman Villa of Saint Euphemia dates from the early Christian times and was abandonedin the post-Roman period. It is situated on the outskirts of the coastal village Saint Euphemia, in the area of Pylaros. Excavations were completed in the early 2000s. The ground plan of the villa shows that the building was U-shaped. The central courtyard is surrounded by spaces that go beyond the boundaries of the archaeological site and are today under the road surface and the neighbouring properties. The mosaic floor of the Roman Villa of Saint Euphemiais comprised of big white stones. On the one side of the courtyard, there is a fountain that used to send rainwater through a constructed pipe and from there to an artificial tank.
