Of the castle of Ruvo, datable between X-XI century, today survive only the inner atrium, the ramparts and the rectangular tower. Used as a military garrison, in 1503 it was the seat of the French garrison involved in the "Challenge of Barletta". In the 19th century the adjacent Palazzo Melodia was built.
