The village of Exogi is built on Mount Niio, at an altitude of 340 meters from the sea, on the north edge of Ithaca. Exogi is one of the oldest settlements of Ithaca. The construction date of many stone houseswas engraved on them and it is still visible. Exogi is located just above the archeological site that is believed to be the Odyssean Palace. The Church of the Annunciation of Virgin Maryas well as the Church of Saint Gerasimos of Exogi are of great value.
