The church, with a single nave apse, has a rectangular plan and stone wall perfectly squared hammer, arranged in regular courses. The rectangular tower has two overlapping rooms. The service premises for the monastic community, with simple and irregular masonry, have been altered by recent interventions, as well as the walls surrounding the settlement.

Built in the eleventh century in the Casale Cesano, the church, rectangular, with a single nave and frescoed apse, was the seat of the Benedictines, who joined other buildings, including the tower. Abandoned in the sixteenth century, in the eighteenth and twentieth century underwent interventions that altered the original appearance.
